1. Who We Are

Tea & Lemonade AI is operated by Tea & Lemonade LLC, a Montana limited liability company. When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," it means Tea & Lemonade LLC. Our service is accessible at human.tealemonade.us.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your Google profile name and email.

Text you submit. We store the original text you paste into the tool and the humanized output we generate. This is necessary to power your history and let you access past work.

Usage data. We track how many words you have processed to manage your credit balance.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We store your Stripe customer ID to manage your account.

Technical data. We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited to keep the service running and secure.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the Tea & Lemonade AI service
• Process your payments and manage your credit balance
• Store your humanization history so you can access it later
• Send transactional emails such as purchase confirmations
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your submitted text to train AI models.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Tea & Lemonade AI:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Anthropic — AI text processing (your text is sent to Anthropic's API)
• Sapling — AI detection scoring (your text is sent to Sapling's API)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
• Upstash — rate limiting

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Your humanization history is stored indefinitely on paid plans and for 30 days on the free plan. You can delete your history at any time from your dashboard. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, email us at adam@tealemonade.us. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use cookies strictly to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

Tea & Lemonade AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
